We’re delighted to announce the merger of three regional businesses into our new brand SCG South West. You’ll have known us before as Eurolink Connect (Stonehouse), Horizon Telecom (Cirencester) or Channel Comms (Bristol), but we’ve now come together as one brilliant brand!

This new merged strategy allows us to increase our team and customer support, enhance our regional coverage, grow the skills of our senior leadership team, and extend the product range and skills available to our clients. It makes us more extensive, more agile, and even better able to work with you to support your needs. For you, these changes are part of our drive to increase and improve our service offering, expand our customer service team, and achieve our commercial objective to be a business with purpose. This includes our move towards Net Zero and our commitment to ESG.

The three businesses were acquired by the Southern Communications Group, which was established in 1965 as a supplier of business-to-business communications products and services. In December 2021, SCG acquired Cirencester-based Horizon Telecoms, followed by Stonehouse-based Eurolink Connect in April 2022, and Bristol-based Channel Comms in December 2022.

The trio combine to form the SCG South West division, continuing under the leadership of Claire Maddox, Managing Director, formerly of Eurolink Connect.

It’s been a busy few months and I’m excited to announce that we’ve now brought all three businesses into the SCG South West brand. This merger marks an exciting new chapter and makes us more extensive, more agile and even better at working with you, to support your needs.

As part of that, we will be holding a launch event on 20 July 2023 to showcase our solutions and give our customers the opportunity to meet the wider team.
