At the end of 2021, we hosted our Eurolink team awards, featuring such categories as “biggest gossip” and “office clown” as voted for by their peers. In amongst the hilarity, we also had a few more serious categories, such as the “Customer Choice” Award, recognising the hard work of our customer service team, as voted for by our clients.

The winner was our IT/Network Technician, Emma Lavis, who received overwhelmingly positive feedback, including “Emma is always really quick to respond & resolves issues quickly, always cheerful and goes above and beyond” and “Simon & Emma.  Both have ability to liaise at any level with all of our team.  They are both always friendly and approachable and they never make you feel stupid.  They’re both very knowledgeable and you feel you are in safe hands.  They’re both extremely patient and excellent at deciphering what our issues are when we are decidedly not IT professionals”.

Introducing Emma Lavis

Emma is a customer service superstar, always at the end of the phone, sharing the Eurolink love. You’ll find her answering your IT queries and support tickets, getting your issues resolved and your systems upgraded. She also delivers much of our IT support, updating systems to the latest security settings, and helping keep our client accounts secure.

If you really want to get techy, Emma absolutely loves our remote support application tool – NinjaOne – which is part of our toolkit to help us update client networks remotely. She’s always geeking out on the system, and loves using it to protect our customer systems, monitor for device issues, and ensure devices are fully up to date.

When asked about her proudest moment at Eurolink, she says it’s winning the Customer Choice Award 2021, but we also think she should be proud of her daily attitude, and her outstanding efforts on behalf of her clients. When asked about her time in the industry, she says “I love coming into work each day not knowing what the day will bring. Everyday is different at Eurolink. I love learning about new products and projects, speaking to new customers, and resolving any challenges, ultimately making sure that everyone is happy!
