For the last few years, our Managing Director Claire Maddox has led an intensive period of staff development, supporting every member of staff with their personal development goals, their job satisfaction, and their opportunities for progression. It is a key part of the culture here at Eurolink, and it’s seen our team make some incredible achievements in the last few months.

Simon Lake & Luca Ricco who have both enrolled as Apprentices with Gloucester College. Simon is studying for his Network Engineer Level 4 Apprenticeship, while Luca is working towards his ICT Level 3 Apprenticeship. Apprenticeships support them to secure recognised qualifications, while working within their roles at Eurolink, at the same time giving them opportunity to sit examinations, and enhancing their overall skillsets.
Noel Hoskins has recently added Linux Certified System Administrator (LFCS) qualification. The qualification is designed for Linux installations, and the qualification focusses on performance-based items that simulate on-the-job tasks and scenarios faced by system admins in the real world. It will support Noel to design, install, configure, and manage a system installation on Linux.
Claire Maddox has achieved Chartered Manager status with the Chartered Management Institute. Chartered Manager is all about professional recognition and is the highest status that can be achieved in the management and leadership profession. Chartered status recognises managers with exceptional management and leadership skills and commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD), demonstrating to employers and peers the value of a professional approach that delivers measurable impact.

Continuous improvement in systems, processes and people are important to us as we grow. In recent months Claire has begun working with Billy Smith from Action Coach Cheltenham to help further our cultural goals. It’s so beneficial to have a coach to work with, to help clearly define goals and action plans, which is already showing positive results, and which will cascade throughout the senior management team and company as a whole.
