We’re bringing a competitive edge to March with our team health & wellbeing challenge…

When discussing the concept of individual health and wellbeing, our team struck on the idea of a team fitness challenge, to outpace each other on foot during the month of March. Fitbits at the ready, a number of our team have already walked, run or cycled some hefty miles, and we completed more than 175 miles combined in the first week alone! For our MD Mrs M, it’s been spring walks in the morning with the dogs, while Commercial Manager Jamie has been out and about spotting wildlife with daughter Eden. The great thing is that a little healthy competition has prompted a lot of healthy activity, and it’s really gaining momentum thanks to our insatiable competitive edges!

As you may already have heard, we sadly lost our colleague Jack in February, so the team has asked that we turn our competitive challenge into a fundraiser, in aid of the charity selected by Jack’s mum – Caring in Bristol. Jack was all set to be part of the challenge and the team asked to make our challenge a tribute to him and his fantastic, enthusiastic spirit. So with that in mind, if you would like to support the team with fundraising to really spur them on, you can do so via the JustGiving page set up in Jack’s Memory.

In the spirit of a good fundraiser, the team has piled on the pressure with a fitness target, and we now need to collectively walk, cycle or run 701 miles during the month of March, as a thanks to all those who are donating. Every penny goes to Caring In Bristol, a charity focussed on solving homelessness in the City of Bristol, working with the community to deliver innovative projects to tackle homelessness. You can find out more about the charity via their website…
